In connection with the start of use on 25 May 2018. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. on the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (general data protection regulation – GDPR) processing of your personal data at the State University of Professional. prof. Stanislawa Tarnowskiego in Tarnobrzeg takes place on the following principles:

Data controller

The data administrator, that is, the determining entity on how your personal data will be used, is the National Professional University prof. Stanislaw Tarnowskiego in Tarnobrzeg represented by Rector, with headquarters at ul. Henryk Sienkiewicz 50, 39-400 Tarnobrzeg

Data Protection Officer

Purposes of processing and legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of the Law on higher education and science and implementing acts to this Act in order to:

  •  
  • student recruitment, student recruitment,
  • documentation of the course of studies,
  • doing professional practices,
  • conducting postgraduate studies, courses, scientific and didactic conferences, and,
  • use of the library,
  • the exercise of the right of students to benefit from scholarships,
  • implementation of the obligation set out in the law regarding the Central list of academic teachers and research workers and the National list of students,
  • fulfilling the obligation specified in the law regarding the monitoring of professional careers of graduates.

We also process your personal data on the basis of the Labour Code and implementing acts to this Act in order to:

  • recruitment of employees,
  • documentation of the course of employment of employees,
  • exercising the right of employees and their families, pensioners and their families to benefit from social benefits financed from the Social Insurance Fund.

We also process your personal data in order to perform the contract to which the data subject is a party, in the following areas:

  • implementation of contracts with customers, service and product providers.

Finally, we process your personal data also for purposes resulting from legitimate interests pursued by the university in the following areas:

  • processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence, and,
  • conducting information and promotional activities related to the tasks of the university,
  • ensuring the security of university property and the safety of employees, students and stakeholders using video monitoring at the university.

In other cases and purposes than the above, the processing of your personal data is possible on the basis of your voluntary consent to the processing of personal data for a specific purpose.

The period of storage of your personal data

Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to carry out the education/employment/contract implementation/consent expressed, for, and then they will be archived and stored for the period resulting from the act on the national archive resources and archives and implementing acts issued on its basis.

Recipients of your data

The recipients of your data will be entities authorized to receive them on the basis of the law and other entities that will process personal data on behalf of the Administrator on the basis of the concluded contract.

Your rights related to processing

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the right to comply with the rights resulting from the GDPR, i.e.

  • ight of access to personal data,
  • rectification or limitation of personal data processing, as follows,
  • object to the processing of personal data,
  • the right to transfer personal data,
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time – if the processing occurred on the basis of consent.

Obligation to provide data and consequences of failure to provide data

The obligation to provide personal data results from the provisions of law. The consequence of your failure to provide personal data resulting from the law will be the lack of education/work opportunities at the State Vocational University in Tarnobrzeg prof. Stanislaw Tarnowski's. The consequence will also be the inability to conclude a contract with the University if the condition for the processing of personal data is the conclusion of a contract with the data subject.

The right to lodge a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Information on data processing for automated decision-making

Your personal data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be used for profiling purposes.

Ze względu na wejście w życie w dniu 25 maja 2018 roku Rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) 2016/679 z dnia 27 kwietnia 2016 r. w sprawie ochrony osób fizycznych w związku z przetwarzaniem danych osobowych i w sprawie swobodnego przepływu takich danych oraz uchylenia dyrektywy 95/46/WE (ogólne rozporządzenie o ochronie danych, dalej zwane jako „RODO"), kierując się potrzebą jak najlepszej ochrony Państwa praw wynikających z nowych przepisów, informujemy, iż wprowadziliśmy nową Politykę prywatności, regulującą zasady przetwarzania danych osobowych po dniu 25 maja 2018 roku.
Wprowadzone zmiany mają na celu przede wszystkim podniesienie standardów obsługi oraz bezpieczeństwa przetwarzania Państwa danych osobowych. W nowej wersji Polityki prywatności uszczegółowiliśmy w związku z tym zasady przetwarzania powierzanych nam danych osobowych, dostosowując w ten sposób dotychczasowe rozwiązania do wymogów RODO.
