Description

Erasmus+ is a program for education, training of the youth and sport. The aim of the Erasmus+ programe is to improve the quality and relevance of usefulness of qualifications and skills. The financial resources of the programe are allocated to scholarships for people who will go abroad to study , to train and to work as volunteers. The period spent abroad can range from a couple of days till one year. Erasmus+provides greater support for students who want to develop their language skills before going to University or working within the scholarship. The Erasmus+ scholarships are adjusted to the specific needs ( these are maintenance costs in the destination country) and they provide greater help for students from less privilaged environments, people with disabilities or those from the outermost regions. In practice the European Erasmus+ programe enables foreign mobility -trips for educational purposes (e.g to study or work , to participate in the training courses or to involve in the volunteering) of the pupils, students, educational staff and and employees. It also supports building the partnerships between universities , higher and secondary schools, enterprises and non-profit organisations to strenghten innovation and knowledge building.
